About Wilson-Groom
Established in February 2005, Wilson-Groom is a small design and consulting
company that specializes in complex and process intensive applications. We are "the
right sized" company with very little overhead. We have the talent and experience of a
larger more-costly automation house, without the added costs and markups. We want
you to consider us an extension to your staff. This personalized approach means total
attention to your project and your needs. We pride ourselves on outstanding service
from handshake to completion.

Since 1979, Jack has been involved with controls and
automation starting as a technician then quickly moving
into startups, programming, and sales. In 1992 Jack
joined a small consulting firm and in 1994 he started his
own consulting business; J.L. Wilson Company. His
clients were mostly local manufacturing companies but
serviced several Fortune 500 corporations as well. Jack's
reputation as an expert programmer precedes him only
in satisfied customers. J.L. Wilson Company remained
a thriving business up until he took on a partner and
co-founded WGI.
Jack's area of expertise is PLC programming, database
development, SCADA / HMI development, and process
control.
Bill started his career in manufacturing and quickly
became interested in factory automation. He has held

largest water treatment equipment supplier in North
America.

hardware and instrumentation specification, schematics,
